What we aim for
This site is built to target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. That is a self-assessment, not a certification, and it is honest to say we have not commissioned an external audit.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a single main landmark and a working skip link on every page.
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator that meets contrast requirements.
- Text and interface colours checked against WCAG AA contrast ratios in both the light and inverted sections.
- Text that reflows without loss of content down to 320 px and remains usable at 200% zoom.
- Decorative animation, including the animated hero, disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
- Form fields with persistent visible labels, error messages tied to their input, and status changes announced to screen readers.
- The animated hero is presentational only and hidden from assistive technology; no information is conveyed by it alone.
Known limitations
- No external accessibility audit has yet been carried out.
- The site has not been tested with every combination of screen reader and browser.
Legal position
The French accessibility obligation under Article 47 of Law no. 2005-102 applies to public bodies and to large private companies above a statutory turnover threshold. It does not currently apply to this company. We follow WCAG because it is the right thing to do, not because we are required to.
